I love this session but I love the people even more! Do you remember Adam and Mari? I photographed their wedding this past summer at the Felt Estate in Holland and just recently I was lucky enough to photograph them as an almost family of four at the Downtown Market in Grand Rapids! How special!
We weren’t sure what the weather was going to do in early March here in Michigan so we explored some options, ending on shooting in this beautiful greenhouse. I think it was a great solution because it was soooo cold that day – 16 degrees!
My friend, Alyssa from Fleurology Designs, was Mari’s florist for her wedding day. I reached out to Alyssa and asked about surprising Mari with a bouquet for her maternity session and she made it happen. This is one of the many reasons working with great vendors is such a good idea!
I am so excited to meet this sweet little one in a few short weeks. I always love finding out what name they chose and it always seems so fitting once I see that precious baby’s face!
Look at this big brother! As proud as can be. Just wait until we get photos of him holding his sibling….I may or may not shed a tear or two!
Adam & Mari – thank you for always trusting me with your incredibly important moments in life. I adore your sweet family and can’t wait to meet your newest member. I’m counting down the days!!!
