The Lucky Fin Project is a non-profit organization that helps raise awareness and brings people together who have limb differences. Each year I offer mini photo session for wonderful people with limb differences that we have connected with through the Lucky Fin Project and it’s my absolute favorite. This year I did something a little different.
Fancy gowns and superheros! Each child (and one gorgeous adult) had the opportunity to choose either wearing a fancy dress or get super hero makeup – and the best part – everything was donated! You have no idea how special it is when people pour their heart into their craft just to gift it to someone else expecting nothing back in return.
Here are some of those beautiful faces!!
This sweetie right here is my own daughter, Gabby. She is full of personality and definitely a huge part of our family.
(You can read our story here!)
Carter chose to wear Minecraft makeup. So, so fun! Sarah from Wild Bees Beauty did an amazing job!
This gorgeous gal is Katrina. She is full of life and most definitely knows what she wants. I kinda like her 😉
I love, love, love that Quinn broke from the fancy dress theme and went on to be Wonder Woman herself. I think it’s pretty fitting…
Oh Sadie. Isn’t she stunning?! Her smile is incredibly beautiful and her eyes light up like no other. What a blessing she is to everyone around her!
I met Sophia for the first time when taking her photos. She kept me on my toes and moving fast with her bursts of energy and fun personality. What a beauty!
This is Arie. She came all the way from the Upper Peninsula to see us and I’m so glad she did. She is a little shy but super sweet. One of those girls you want to be your BFF!
Oh Miss Alsae. Alsae is the first person that our family met with limb differences. She is kind, beautiful, funny and full of joy. Her family is so incredibly precious to us and helped show us that different is ok.
Elliott, uh…I mean Bruce…I mean…Batman! This kid…he makes me laugh. And laugh. How lucky are his parents to have this awesome dude in their lives?!
Bailey is absolutely gorgeous. I met her the day we took photos and enjoyed talking to her so much. She loves photography so learning how she shoots one handed was so interesting to me.
Addy is becoming more and more gorgeous each and every time I see her. Her raspy voice and fun sense of humor have certainly worked their way into my heart.
This sweetie is Natalie. Natalie’s momma has quickly become a dear friend of mine. Watching her handle each and every twist and turn thrown at her witch grace is nothing short of a miracle. You go momma!
A HUGE thank you to all the vendors that helped make these kids feel incredibly special! (If you have a chance, please support them in any way possible!)
