Winter mini sessions at Hydrangea Blu Barn in Rockford Michigan were seriously a blast. We had to push them back a week due to a diagnosis of Covid (ugh….that darn “C” word!) then push them back again one day due to rain. In the end, I think we ended up the best day possible. It wasn’t freezing and we had a light dusting of snow. Simply gorgeous!
If you are in the wedding industry in the Grand Rapids then you most likely know Katy. She is the kindest person around. And she loves her sweet goats!
Hydrangea Blu is such a beautiful wedding venue. It’s in the country, has beautiful places for photos and is super classy and fun!
It’s always fun when a family brings their pets along. Pickles was such a good dog for his photos!

I love how each family brings their own style to a session. Drew’s family was classy and monochromatic which I think is my favorite style for photos.
The family in pjs. They weren’t so sure at first about wearing pjs in a field…but I said, why not?! We just went with it and I think the results were so fun!
Ben loved looking at the barn and peeking inside the windows. He wasn’t so sure about having his photo taken but I was sneaky and got some great ones anyway 🙂
Isn’t this sweet family beautiful?! I love the cuddles with mom and sweet little sister’s smile. So soft and pretty 🙂
