West Michigan Family Photographer // The Socha Family Portraits with Apple Blossoms!
Sweet families like this make my long days of shooting photos and endless hours of sitting at the computer so worth every minute of it! While sitting here today editing, I started thinking back to all the giggles the kids had, the funny stories dad told and how happy mom will be to have photos on her wall for years to come. My career is truly one of joy!
When Lesley initially contacted me, she quickly reminded me that we played softball together in high school (which, oh my goodness, seems like a lifetime ago….doesn’t it, Lesley?!). What a small world! It was fun catching up, even if only for a few minutes.
Our spring photo session was perfect with countless apple blossoms at the local apple orchard and rolling hills behind and this gorgeous family of four! The only thing that could have made it better would have been a little peek from the sun….but I’ll be happy with what I have. That’s the true key to success and happiness in life anyway, isn’t it?!

I ALWAYS take some shots with mom and her kids…..moms never get in enough photos day to day!

Yes! Mom and dad need a minute together too….they are the reason this whole thing started in the first place 😉
Parker wasn’t super excited about photos by the end of the session….but dad knew just how to cheer him up! I was literally crying while laughing with the sound effects and laughter that was taking place during this!
