Muskegon Birth Photographer // Baby Emeric!
So….I said I was going to post these next week…but I couldn’t possibly wait! Remember Derrick & Sabrina from February? If not, read their story here! (Disclaimer: their story is incredibly tear-jerking, but I promise, it has a great ending!)
These two are some of the sweetest, kindest people that I have ever met. Throughout our time so far together, they have helped me change the way I look at parenting. When I’m upset with Addison, I think about them…all the struggles and hard times they have went through to have a child…making me feel so blessed and honored to be able to have my little girl in my life. Their strength and perseverance has helped make me a better parent. They keep thanking me for documenting their journey, but I should be the one who is thankful. Thankful for learning some of life’s lessons and becoming better at what’s really important….being a good mother to my sweet little angel. (I promise…after I post this, I’m running away from my computer for the rest of the day….. to spend a few extra hours making memories with my peanut!)
Baby Emeric was quite the popular little man at the hospital yesterday. With the incredible procedure that was done to make his life possible, he was well anticipated. There were lots of tears and lots of smiles….all for this cutie. I am SO incredibly honored to be able to play such a small part in it.
Waiting…
Derrick all prepped and ready to meet his son!
I think this was the longest wait of his life…
It’s amazing how tears of nervousness and anxiousness instantly turned into tears of joy!
The second we heard his cry, the entire room busted into tears (or at least I did……)
Such a big boy!
They were all so anxious…
He really is SO cute!
One last photo of little Emeric…smiling because he knows he’s exactly where he should be!
Oh! And I got to mark one more of my “Things to Do in 2014” off my list yesterday! Check the list out here!
