How do you like being married? Does it feel any different than before?
Other than having a home together the feeling hasn’t changed much. We are still the couple on the street with stars in our eyes for each other.
Was there anything that you would have done differently on your wedding day or did it go exactly as planned?
I would have made a better list for photos and spent more time taking some candid photos with guests. We have so many beautiful photos with eachother but I wish I had a few more with guests. I also would have liked to have a video of at least the ceremony and toasts.
Did anything crazy or funny happen that we may not know about?
My dad almost missed the father-daughter dance because he was helping to hang sides on the tent since it started raining. He almost took off his wet shirt to dance! Glad I caught him before that!
Did you have a favorite vendor and/or favorite detail from the day?
The photographer was AMAZING 🙂 It’s hard to pick photos to hang! So many of the details were from my family. My favorite details were probably all the wild flowers from my cousin’s garden put in my Aunt’s mason jars as center pieces. It was exactly the look I wanted and coming from family made it that much better.
What were your favorite images from your day? Was there any special meaning behind any of them?
My favorite images are of us outside, in front of the Church. I grew up at that church and it was a big part of my childhood. It was perfect to be there on our wedding day.
Do you have any advice for brides that are currently planning their weddings?
Make a list of group photos you would like months before hand. Go over it with your mother, grandmother, and bridesmaids.
Last one… Where did you spend your honeymoon? Tell us about it!
We spent the weekend at The Shack in White Cloud, MI. We both had to get back to work. We plan to take a trip to Europe soon, Germany and The Czech Republic.
