Seth & Kuirsta have been married for ten years so we celebrated their anniversary on the beach of Lake Michigan with a fun and cozy photo session. The sky was hazy because of the western wildfires so the sun barely peeked through but it created a muted palette of greens and blues that I simply adore!

Kuirsta is a super talented photographer herself now too – she has even taken our family photos a few times!

I seriously can’t believe it’s been ten years since their wedding. Since then they have had two sweet boys, I’ve had two sweet girls, Kuirsta became an awesome photographer, I photographed her sister’s wedding and her other sister became one of my best friends! A lot can happen in ten short years 😉

I have been shooting at the beach so much lately that I think these birds are getting used to me…haha! They are constantly in the photos I take! (I kinda like them!)

Seriously these two are gorgeous!

So, if all that can happen in those first ten years….what’s going to happen in the next?! I, for one, can’t wait to find out!

I’ve seen Kuirsta several times since then but I don’t think I’ve seen Seth! Goodness how that time sneaks up on you (especially when they live a few states away….).

Seth & Kuirsta – congratulations on ten years of marriage! What an accomplishment! I’m still endlessly grateful that you gave me a chance so long ago when I was fresh with that camera in my hands. I’ll always remember your puppies as bouquets as one of my favorite moments. Praying that you’ll have way more than ten wonderful years ahead!
