Shooting in downtown Grand Rapids for a family session on a rooftop has become one of my absolute favorite locations! You get the pretty skyline for some photos, the neutral painted concrete that allows your eyes to focus on your subjects and gorgeous light because the entire roof you are standing on is acting as a natural reflector. I mean….basically perfection!

When momma, Kristin, showed up with this gorgeous family of five perfectly coordinating and looking amazing….I was pretty excited. Then, she began to tell me that she picked out their outfits THAT day! What?! Kristin….you may have a new calling… 😉

Big sister, Amalia. I remember thinking that her and my oldest daughter looked so much alike when they were babies. They have definitely grown up into beautiful young ladies now.
