These family photos on Lake Michigan are some of my favorites!
Before moving to another state, this gorgeous family and I were finally able to meet for family photos on the beautiful shores of Lake Michigan with four days to spare. There was lots of sunshine, lots of giggles and super sandy toes. We had way too much fun!
I just adore this session. Taking the photos felt effortless (maybe because mom and dad were having with it) and the family was absolutely adorable!
You won’t even believe this but I didn’t edit out any people in the background! The lake was pretty quiet and peaceful…

PJ Hoffmaster State Park in Muskegon is one of my favorite beaches.
The water at the lake is so much lower than years past so this awesome sand bar was showing. It made for the perfect photo spot!
