Zach and Meghan’s wedding day was just perfect. Well…I really don’t know how their actual wedding day was but the day we celebrated on was amazing. These two were married last year but we celebrated their vow renewal in Northern Michigan in Grayling with their favorite people with all the fun wedding festivities. Ceremonies, food, fun and photos!!

All of the flowers for their wedding day were grown by Meg’s family in Northern Michigan. Such a special detail 🙂

Meg, you were absolutely stunning!

Zach and Meg had a sweet and private ceremony with just their family and closest friends.

At the end, they surprised everyone and had their son, Roman, baptized.

Following the ceremony, we headed over to Finley’s Riverside Cabins for a laidback and casual reception and portraits in the AuSable River.

Meg lost her mother years ago and wanted to incorporate her into her wedding day some way special.

Connie, Meg’s mother’s best friend, raises monarch butterflies which encouraged Meg and her mom to do the same when she was younger. Whenever Meg sees a butterfly, it reminds her that her mom is watching over her. Connie brought some of these special butterflies that she raises just for photos. It was so very special.

Oh Roman…this photo makes me laugh. He is crying but it’s still so sweet!

This day was seriously gorgeous. The weather was perfect and made you want to be outdoors all day long!

I couldn’t believe it but the entire bridal party got into the river. It was seriously so fun!

Ugh, these portraits. Some of my all time favorites. The glowy light, the river, their joy. Just perfect!

After the river photos, these two changed into their “Mr & Mrs” shirts (because their wedding clothes were soaked haha). It was just the perfect way to end the perfect day!

Zach & Meg – thank you SO much for trusting me with the images from your day. I had so much fun splashing in the river, laughing with your family and friends and capturing your joy. It was such a great day.
