This Grand Rapids winter maternity photo session is one of my favorites! Teresa and I were chatting for a while about ideas and how she wanted pine trees with snow. Well….early December in Michigan is a touchy time. You would think we would be covered in snow, but you just never know… About a week before the session we had a heavy snow storm which was gorgeous, but no more snow on the radar for almost two weeks. I prayed and prayed allll week for this certain set of trees to how the snow. Everywhere (and I mean everywhere) around these trees was brown and melted…but not these pines. These pines were protected and my prayers were answered. Praise the Lord!!

Sweet Stella is going to be a big sister and was SUCH a trooper in the freezing cold temps that morning. She gave me her big ‘ol smile for the camera and wore her flower crown like a pro. I was ecstatic (but I think her momma was even happier!).

I had such a hard time narrowing down images for this post. There are just SO many gorgeous ones that I love!
