Grand Rapids Wedding Photographer // Josh & Deja!

Josh & Deja were married last weekend on a gorgeous, hot & sunny June Saturday!  Deja has been a good friend of my sister’s for many years now…and has became my friend as well over the past few years!  We pretend to be Josh’s friend too 😉  (jkjk..!).

We were fortunate enough to be able to photograph their engagement twice.  Once at Lake Michigan and once in Arizona where they currently live!  We had a blast both times!

Deja’s dress was so pretty and looked perfect on her!

We went to the local marina after the ceremony for photos!

Loved these toasts! 

Josh loves to sew…..sooo….he decided to make Deja a pillow to give to her at their wedding reception.  The material he used was an old t-shirt that said “I’m working on my sixpack”.  The same shirt he was wearing when they first met.  Classic!

The Barn in New Era sure makes a gorgeous backdrop for a wedding.  The up-lighting in these photos makes all the difference too!

It was the night of the “Supermoon”.  It wasn’t that super…but still a nice shot!

Josh wanted to pretend that he was holding it…so we obliged…

And…introducing….Hetler Photography photo booths!  It may not be perfect quite yet…but it was a great trial run!

And…yes, there were some super crazy ones…those will just be kept private for the couple!  I wouldn’t want to embarrass anyone too much 😉
