Grand Rapids Photographer // Made My Week – Vol 21!

This week I have much to be thankful for.  This season always help me realize what’s important.  It’s so easy to get caught up in the gifts, the business and the holiday….but I always love to slow down just a little bit and spend time with the people I love.  In the end….that’s all that matters!  (that’s why I’m wrote this way in advance so I can just spend lots of my time with my sweet baby girl and handsome hubby)

One of the major things that made my weeks was being able to give.  Of course, I always enjoy giving gifts to my family and friends…..but I’m talking about giving on a much different scale to people I don’t even know.  This year, Hetler Photography was able to give BIG thanks to everyone that trusts us with their memories (you guys)!!  We were able to give lots of money to food pantry’s, an enormous amount of toys to our church’s Angel Tree and Toys for Tots, and were also able to donate many hours of time photographing fundraisers and other events.  Without all of you supporting us, this would not be possible.   So….THANK YOU!

Addison loves to cook and bake with me….so someting else that made my week was Monday morning.  We baked all morning….cookies, pumpkin bread, etc….!  I answered some emails in the morning and then just walked away for the rest of the day!  Passing out the goodies to neighbors was fun too!!

This time of year is great!  What’s more important than seeing my little girl as happy as can be because her mommy is spending time with her?  Nothing!!  So, please…..take the next few days to slow down, hug the people you love and make some memories….after all, that’s what life is all about!
