Grand Rapids Family Photographer // Gideon & Jaxton’s Family!

Sarah and I had been waiting and waiting for the perfect amount of snow to land on the pine trees and I had thought that we waited too long….  We canceled a couple of times because it was either SO cold or the snow had melted into piles of that ugly leftover snow that we currently have in Michigan.  We decided to give it one last try a couple of weeks ago….and we woke up to THIS!  I mean…how much luckier could we be?!

I have to admit….I have a special place in my heart for Sarah.  She did, after all, introduce me to my husband….her big brother!  She and I worked together at an ice cream shop for a summer where she would tell me about this older brother of hers.  Before I had even met him I had a crush…all thanks to this gorgeous lady!

She too found her soulmate in Brandon a few years later and I was lucky enough to be able to photograph their wedding (thankfully they were one of the couples that gave me a chance early on in my career).  Aren’t they just the most beautiful family?!
