This Grand Rapids branding photography session was seriously fun. Not only was it fun but it was certainly a passion project for me as well. My beautiful daughter, Gabby, has been in weekly therapy ever since she was only a few months old. Physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy. Being a part of projects like these do more for a person than add to a portfolio, they make my heart swell, make me excited for the future and yearn to help others in bigger ways that I never dreamed were possible.

These two beauties are Bree and Jaclyn. Bree is a pediatric Occupational Therapist and Jaclyn is a Speech-Language Pathologist. Together, their goal is to provide easy-to-implement tips that parents and caregivers can use right away to support baby’s development through the first year and beyond. The new website and blog they have created is simply perfection!

I met Bree several years ago which has turned into quite a blessing. While my daughter was only a few months old, she was enrolled in Early On – a program that offers early intervention services for infants and toddlers, birth to three years of age, with developmental delay(s) and/or disabilities, and their families. Bree was Gabby’s in-home occupational therapist and we LOVED her! She showed us how to work with Gabby to start reaching her milestones – sitting – crawling – walking – eating – playing. I mean….I’m a photographer and my husband is an IT guy after all….and with one typically developing older daughter, we really had no clue what to do when we were trying to figure out all that came with our sweet baby girl. What a blessing she was to us.

Bree no longer works with Early On, but we are so lucky to still be in contact. Some people are just meant to be in your life 🙂
