Destination Photographer // San Francisco & Beyond!
“Travel as much as you can. As far as you can. As long as you can. Life’s not meant to be lived in one place.” -unknown
I love that quote……and it is so true to me in my life. I love to travel and see everything possible. Joe and I often joke that when we get home, we need a vacation from our vacation because we are SO exhausted! This trip made me exactly that….
My best friend of 29+ years and I decided to visit another friend in California and see what San Francisco and Sonoma Valley had to offer. Needless to say, we were in awe of one more of God’s amazing masterpieces!
The first part of our trip was roaming around San Francisco.
I can’t imagine that the people who actually live in the painted ladies love all the tourists….
I found it so interesting to see all the wires above our heads for the cable cars. Alcatraz is that little island in the distance..
Lombard Street.
Of course, the Golden Gate Bridge was amazing.
One other place that we visited was the Sutro Bath ruins. What a fun and interesting place to wander around.
Seeing all the Redwood trees in Muir Woods was probably one of the best parts of the trip in my book. You really realize how small and insignificant you are in the world…
The photo below would have been a pretty nice shot, but whenever I give my camera to someone else….for some reason it ends up not being in focus. I wonder why…..
I really enjoyed hiking the hillside trail at this gorgeous park. Makes me even more excited to hike in Alaska in three short weeks!
So….we went on a fun winery tour in Sonoma. It would have been even more fun if I liked wine, but I actually found a bottle of Moscato from Ravenswood Winery that wasn’t too bad!
Buena Vista Winery was GORGEOUS! I would LOVE to shoot a wedding there someday!
Until our next adventure…..
