Oh my goodness! What an amazing trip! Arizona is so beautiful is so many ways! It was weird for Joe and I to spend so much time alone together….but we had so much fun and soaked up every minute we could! Addy stayed behind with her grandma and grandpa, so we missed her so much, but it is so good for parents to get away and concentrate on their relationships sometimes too! Every set of parents should do that every once in a while….therapy for the soul 🙂
Joe and I were so fortunate to be able to experience so many new things! We were able to see The Grand Canyon, Sedona, Phoenix, Scottsdale and so much more! Between all of the hiking, eating delicious Mexican food, golfing, engagement photo sessions, my workshop, etc….we were exhausted when we came home! Non-stop vacations are my fave!!
Here is some of the gorgeousness that we experienced while in the state of Arizona!
I honestly had no idea that Arizona was so mountainous….I thought it would be more desert-like….
The Grand Canyon was breath-taking!
Can you find me in the photo below?
The background looks almost fake!
I wanted to take a couple of portraits…Joe is such a good sport. I don’t know if it’s just me, but the sun in Arizona is so much prettier!
I wasn’t thinking about jumping…I promise 🙂
I love that Joe’s new phone takes panoramic photos!!
A nice lady asked if we wanted a photo together…I don’t think she had any idea what she was getting into…b/c I only had my pro camera 🙂
We thought these guys were crazy standing on that ledge….
…..about a five minute walk later…we did it too!
Arizona sunsets are the most gorgeous!
Day #2 – Sedona!
If we ever become snowbirds, I think we would live here!
Cathedral Rock! Awesome!
My attempt at the “look like your holding up the mountain” photo. No one is good at everything……
We were with some friends here so they snapped a few photos for us!
I tried some long exposures at night….I definitely want to learn more to get better shots, but definitely a good start!
Cacti are so cool!
The prettiest sunset that I have ever seen! I hope to go back someday!!
