West Michigan Photographer // The Haven Conference – Camp Blodgett – Part I!

The Haven Conference is a conference for like-minded entrepreneurs who want to connect, grow and get fired up about going to the next level with their business!

This conference was different than most conferences I have been to.  Women from all different industries were in attendance but all had the same goal in mind….success.  The thing that I loved most about the day was that each woman had success on the brain, but only wanted to achieve it the right way.  The kind way.  And the honest way.  Putting others first and always achieving community over competition.  That is the industry that I want to be a part of.  That is what made The Haven Conference just that….a haven.

The day started off with a light, healthy breakfast at the most perfect setting, Camp Blodgett, along the lakeshore on Lake Michigan in West Olive.  The sun was shining, making you know that it was going to be a great day!!

The first speaker was Brooke from Stellaluna Events, the creator of the conference.  She spoke about ‘Visualizing A Life You Are Unapologetic For”.  Brooke talked about setting your goals into smaller attainable goals and building your business around what you want your life to look like….not the other way around.  Solid Gold right there!

Second up was Amanda Adamcheck speaking about ‘Alignment and A 6+ Figure Mindset’.  Something that she said that really stuck with me is that “at every new level, there is a new devil”.  This is SO true!!

Then Kalin Sheick from Sweetwater Floral spoke about ‘Storytelling to Help Your Profitability & Brand Loyalty’.  Kalin was hilarious!  I was seriously almost crying half of the time that she was speaking.  Her stories and examples just rang SO true!  “Where the messy is, the story is!”

We took a break for lunch and had a crazy delicious and healthy lunch provided by The Farmhouse Deli.  It was seriously amazing…oh that kale salad!!

And it only made sense that we opened back up with a dance party to get the blood flowing!  So much fun! (With DJ Matt getting it done…and the only male in the room!)

Brittney Suttle spoke next about ‘Money Mindset, Abundance & Manifestation’.  Brittney is seriously the only person I have met that gets excited about taxes.  She is certainly a good person to know!!

The final speaker of the day was Kerry from Reset Brain & Body who spoke about ‘Meditation, Wellness & The Entrepreneurial Mental Game’.  Kerry took everyone outside to the deck where she led everyone through an exercise and meditation that can be done anytime to take a little break and bring some peace back into your life.  The setting was just about perfect with Lake Michigan off in the distance.
