Meet beautiful Sophie. I took her newborn photos at her family’s home in Ann Arbor on a chilly spring afternoon. Her mommy and daddy are madly in love….but how could they not be?!

Doug and Julia are the best parents already. (Do they look familiar? I took their maternity photos this past winter and wedding photos almost three years ago!) Doug is the sweetest dad always ready to help and cuddle Sophie whenever needed and Julia is the most stunning momma. This is one lucky little girl!

That tiny little face. It’s crazy to think that just days earlier she was curled up inside her mommy’s tummy. What a miracle!

I try and take a photo of each newborn in their crib. Before you know it, they will be too big for it!

Doug & Julia (and Sophie now too!) – thank you for asking me to be there for all your special moments in life. It is so much fun for me to see you start your lives together then become a family. My camera lens has never been happier!
