This family photography session that I took in Kalamazoo was for my very own girls, so I may be a little biased by how cute they are!

This summer I photographed this gorgeous couple at Shades of Lavendar Farm in Kalamazoo, but first I wanted to scope it out for myself before meeting the couple there… Well, what a better way to check the location out than to photograph my own beautiful daughters there for practice! I think it was a win-win! My husband and I even snuck in for a few photos which doesn’t happen too often 🙂

Gabriella, my four year old, was born profoundly deaf and has one cochlear implant. We use Cued American English to communicate in our home 🙂

We were gifted these dolls, made by A Doll Like Me, and they are the sweetest things ever! Gabby’s doll has three fingers on one hand and four on another just like she does 🙂

This girl brings SO much joy to the world. My life has been made a thousand times better since she has came into it.

Addison & Gabriella – I don’t know if you’ll ever read this, but if you do, I want you to know that I love you more than you’ll ever know. More than life itself. You are my favorite people to photograph and my favorite people to cuddle with. You are my favorite girls to laugh with and read stories to. You have ALL of my heart.
