How do you like being married?  Does it feel any different than before?

It’s been great – our day to day lives haven’t changed too much, but feels like an even closer bond and partnership now.

Was there anything that you would have done differently on your wedding day or did it go exactly as planned?

Everything went very smoothly on our wedding day – maybe one or two small things but it was such a wonderful day didn’t bother us at all. The only thing we’d change is maybe hiring a videographer for the ceremony.

Did anything crazy or funny happen that we may not know about?

The only thing that comes to mind is one of the groomsmen “borrowed” one of the country clubs golf carts for an evening cruise.

Did you have a favorite vendor and/or favorite detail from the day?

Everything was great, but we absolutely loved how the flowers turned out – even better than we had imagined. The DJ also did a really great job. And of course, the photos captured our day perfectly and will be something we always treasure.

What were your favorite images from your day? Was there any special meaning behind any of them?

We really liked the sky lantern one at the end of the night, it was the best ending to the perfect day. A couple other favorites are looking at each other walking back down the aisle after we were officially announced as husband & wife and during the wedding toasts.

Do you have any advice for brides that are currently planning their weddings?

I would advise to try to be on top of things as early as possible and then when the day comes just enjoy it and don’t let the little things get to you. Also, we’d heard from many other couples they hardly saw their spouses at the reception as there were so many people to chat with. We made an effort to spend most of the night together and talk to family and friends together which was great.

Last one… Where did you spend your honeymoon? Tell us about it!

St. Lucia – was absolutely gorgeous! You can’t beat snorkeling, rainforest hikes, & lounging at the beach!
