This summer has been all about shooting at the beach and I absolutely love it!! The giggles from the kids, the sound of the waves splashing in the background and the simple backdrop that the beach provides makes me happy. This West Olive family photography session had all of that and more!!
I met up with this beautiful family at their home on Lake Michigan. Bree, mom, was my daughters occupational therapist a couple of years ago and we absolutely loved her. She was always so kind, so knowledgeable and always left us making our day better. Seeing her this week certainly was a highlight! It was no surprise that her husband was as equally as kind and fun to be around….people that we easily can call friends. The rest of my family even tagged along and played on the beach while we were shooting photos. It was a pretty awesome evening if I do say so myself 🙂

Yes, I did take photos with their faces in the images…but we are saving those for the family 🙂
