Whenever I get the opportunity to visit the Felt Mansion in Saugatuck for a wedding, I feel like the luckiest photographer alive. The estate itself is stunning, the grounds are immaculate and you don’t have to leave to capture beautiful photos. It’s perfect. Christian and Maggie’s day was just that too.

Christian and Maggie loved the historic elements of the mansion so we really tried to capture that in their images. From getting ready portraits in the stunning bridal suite for her, their first look at the grotto and portraits all around the estate…I think we captured so many different looks. It was amazing.

First looks with bridesmaids are so sweet.

While the ladies were getting ready in the mansion, Christian and his groomsmen were getting ready in the carriage house.

They chose to have their first look at the grotto outside of the mansion. It was the perfect location because it was hidden from any onlookers and had a beautiful staircase leading straight to Christian. Certainly one of the best moments of the day!
