Oh goodness, there is so much to say about Brandon and Molly. Their wedding day at The Cheney Place was magical and being their wedding photographer was nothing short of a blessing to me. The sun was shining, the mood was joyful and the celebration was finally here.
This celebration was one that was rescheduled due to Covid and everyone was ready to congratulate these two properly. Even though Brandon and Molly were officially married back in March, this day was incredibly special. In March, they decided to continue with their wedding plans to share the same anniversary date with both of their parents. I love that they’ll have several dates to celebrate each year, in March and in October, remembering the days they promised forever together. What a beautiful way to start a life. I pray these images honor that special promise.
All of Molly’s details were just perfect. Simple and classy with gorgeous soft fall colors.
You can’t see it in the image above but Molly’s shoes had a Tiffany’s teal blue bottom which is perfect because that is where her gorgeous ring is from!
Her robe was my favorite detail of the day. She had it custom made from her mom’s wedding gown. Now that she has used it for her special day, Molly will pass it down for her sisters to wear on theirs too.
She chose a cathedral veil which is always my favorite length. So pretty, so dramatic and so much fun! (You’ll see how much fun we had with it later….)
Their first look was such a perfect moment. It was privately tucked inside some Willow trees with the wind gently blowing. I still tear up thinking about these few minutes.
Goodness, Molly, you looked stunning!
I secretly hope that there’s a little wind on all wedding days. It makes photos so romantic!
Brandon & Molly included their sweet pups in their ceremony. They also had a foot washing ceremony and at one point, both dogs were thirsty so took a quick drink of the water. It was pretty funny!
Molly and I discussed locations in downtown Grand Rapids prior to the wedding day and she chose a few that she liked. From there, I chose which one I thought would be best for light at that time of day….I think we did pretty great!
I have no idea what the guys are doing here but they look like they are having fun so it’s a win!
See….that little bit of wind and that cathedral veil. Perfection.
This sign is pretty funny. The finally part is referring to Covid and having to reschedule. I think everyone was excited that the day was finally here!
Wasn’t the decor so pretty?!
Brandon & Molly – you both don’t even know how grateful I am to have been a part of your day. It was so incredibly special. I can’t wait to see where life takes you!
xoxo – Kellie
