This newborn photography session taken in Sparta Michigan belongs to some of our dearest friends. Mike, sweet little Isla’s dad, became friends with my husband a long time ago, in middle or high school, and was eventually a groomsman at our wedding. Since then, he married the love of his wife, Alicia, and they started a family with these two cuties. Being there behind the scenes to celebrate all these special moments is one of my favorite things in my life!

You don’t want to know what was going on behind me to make them laugh in the bottom right photo (ok…well…it was my husband, Joe, acting like a total buffoon!).
