How do you like being married? Does it feel any different than before?

So far, it hasn’t felt any different than before, other than the name-change process.

Was there anything that you would have done differently on your wedding day or did it go exactly as planned?

I didn’t really get a chance to eat lunch during the day with everything being so hectic before the ceremony, so I ended up taking a break during pictures because I felt light-headed. That is the only thing that didn’t go as planned.

Did anything crazy or funny happen that we may not know about?

Nothing really crazy happened- everything was pretty low-key and went as planned.

Did you have a favorite vendor and/or favorite detail from the day?

The flowers we had for the ceremony and reception were gorgeous.

What were your favorite images from your day? Was there any special meaning behind any of them?

My favorite images ended up being the ones that were taken right at the end of the day in little vineyard area, when the sun was beginning to set. I also really liked the photo of the wedding party on the porch and the ones on the swing.

Do you have any advice for brides that are currently planning their weddings?

Try to leave additional time before the ceremony for photos. I thought I had enough time planned, but our hair appointments took longer than we had planned, so we didn’t get as many photos of the bride/bridesmaids as we had hoped.

Last one… Where did you spend your honeymoon? Tell us about it!

We went to Traverse City, MI for our honeymoon. We stayed at a hotel on the water and just took time to relax after the wedding. We took a sailboat cruise, did a wine tasting, and did some sight-seeing around the city.
