Grand Rapids Wedding Photographers // Made My Week – Vol 7!

Another week has flown by and summer has officially said “Adios”!  I am SO looking forward to fall….the chilly temps, fun fall activities and most of all….football!  Yes, I love this time of year!

So, what made my week this past week?!  Two things!  (well…more than two, but I am only going to share these ones..)

For the first time ever, I saw one of my photos in print!  Well…to be correct, it was the first time I saw my photo in print in a magazine.  It wasn’t a wedding magazine feature, just an advertisement for a local venue…but hey, I’ll take it!  They must like the photo enough to have it represent their gorgeous space!  Check out Railside Golf Club if you are getting married.

Something else that was unique and fun this week was that I attended a wedding…..wait for it….as a GUEST!  It has probably been six years since I have done that.  I know what you are thinking…really, being a guest at a wedding made your week?!  Of course it did!  No matter how much I love photographing the most important day for a bride and groom, it was lots of fun to eat slowly, dance publicly and sit and chat as long as I wanted.  I’m not going to lie, I felt like I was supposed to be somewhere and do something all day and seeing the gorgeous sunset over the lake almost killed me, but it was great!  And…not to mention….holy easy!  You wedding guests have the life..
