1 – How do you like being married?  Does it feel any different than before? 

Being married is great! It hasn’t been too much of a change since my husband and I had been together for 9 years before we got married. But I do think that being married gives you a deeper sense of love and commitment.

2 – Was there anything that you would have done differently on your wedding day or did it go exactly as planned?

The day went pretty well. I do wish we would be been dressed a little quicker, but you can’t always predict dress issues! 🙂

3 – Did anything crazy or funny happen that we may not know about? 

Not really, you captured a lot of the fun moments like when my nephew was running around the reception in just a diaper. They were great photos. The only thing you missed but that was because it was at the very end of the night. We ended to the reception with Thomas and I being lifted up in chairs over the dance floor. That was really fun.

4 – Did you have a favorite vendor and/or any favorite details from the day?  

I highly recommend The Resorts of Tullymore and St. Ives. They were fantastic to work with and were so accommodating to all our guests. And they had great lodging options for weddings that want everything to be on site. We had a great Dj too – MidMichigan DJs out of Jackson, MI.

5 – What were your favorite images from your day?  Was there any special meaning behind any of them? 

 There are some great ones of my mom and I walking down the aisle. I love those. They truly show the emotion we felt walking down. There are so many great ones of the wedding party and ones of just Thomas and I. 

6 – Do you have any advice for brides that are currently planning their weddings?   

Do a lot of research and don’t settle on anything that you might later regret. This is your and your husband’s day so make it about you. Don’t overly accommodate the ideas and wants of other people. Make sure your wedding meets your vision, not someone else’s.

7 – Last one…..where did you spend your honeymoon?  Tell us about it!   

We went to Aruba! We stayed at the Divi Resorts. It was wonderful! The weather was gorgeous and the resort was right on the water. The staff and the food were great. We definitely would love to go back.
