Photography is obviously a love of mine!  It has been for quite some time.  I can remember saving up for my very first Canon film camera in high school…..that I bought at Wal-Mart.  I know what you are thinking!  Wal-Mart….really?!?  Yes!  Everyone has to start somewhere…and that’s where it was for me.  I still have that camera sitting on my shelf as a reminder of where I started, along with a photo of my very first wedding that I photographed.  Two very humbling reminders that I appreciate so much!  I have had so many other photographers help me along the way, and still do, answering questions that I may have and giving me encouragement and bits of advice at every roadblock.  To all of these people I am so grateful and feel the need and want to pay it forward!

If I had only known then what I know now….the journey would have been much easier and much quicker!  That’s why I’m writing this post…..to possibly help out someone else that is just starting in their photography journey!  I want to answer YOUR questions!  May they be technical, personal or business…about posing, editing or lighting….it doesn’t matter!  No question is too silly…b/c honestly, I may not even know the answer!  I am the type of person that just sits back and soaks it all in…never asking questions or asking for help.  Don’t be like me….get past that and ask away!  In high school, when most parents were paying students for getting good grades, my parents paid me to ask questions.  I know….so lame…but so true!
