Grand Rapids Photographer // Made My Week – Vol 50!

We always have so much to be thankful for, but this past week was even better than normal!  Joe and I took our sweet little Addison to Disney World to celebrate her 4th birthday!  We are all about experiences over things, so Disney this year meant no birthday gifts and not many for Christmas.  Of course, she received some gifts, the best one being our time together in Florida!

A trip to Disney World is not for the faint of heart.  It’s intense, crowded, overwhelming and expensive.  But it also happens to be the happiest place on earth, which I think is pretty true.  Joe and I traveled to Disney before we had Addison and it was a blast, but seeing it through her eyes was amazing.  The awe and wonderment that filled her eyes each day was more than I could have imagined.  It was truly a great experience that we hope to relive again and again!

Meeting the princesses and the characters was her favorite part.  And this princess brunch that we attended made seeing several princesses at one time so easy.

Every where we went the characters and workers treated Addison like royalty.  I was a little worried that she would go home with some sort of princess complex…

If you are able, I highly recommend a trip to Disney with your kids.  We only went for a couple of days and I don’t think I could have went any longer.  You could travel back 100 times and have it be a whole new experience each time.  What a wonderful family adventure!
