I’m a wedding and portrait photographer, and I’m also a disability advocate working to make the wedding industry more accessible, thoughtful, and welcoming. I believe love stories deserve to be told in spaces where care, dignity, and access are part of the experience - not an afterthought.

This work is deeply personal to me. I’m helping build an industry that’s ready for my daughter, Gabby - so that when it’s her turn to dream, celebrate, and be celebrated, the world is already open to her, just as she is.

Grand Rapids Photographer // James & Mica!

Saturday evening ended up being rather gorgeous. The sun was peeking out and the temps were pretty comfortable for this time of year. I met up with James and Mica who needed new head shots taken….sneaking in some fun photos of the two of them as well. These two were so laid back and kind…making my job even easier! Thank you both for that!!

We didn’t realize that Grand Valley University’s graduation was downtown that day…..as well as prom for many different schools. There were SO many people at first so we went and hid on top of a parking garage for a few shots!
