Grand Rapids Photographer // Easter Tablescape – With Shelby from The Day’s Design!

A couple of weeks ago, I met up with Shelby from The Day’s Design to photograph a simple, yet lovely tablescape that she was creating for an Easter themed dinner table.  Shelby writes a fun blog, The Townline Journal, about everything that has to do with life, decorating, weddings and just about everything else in between.  I love how she forages many of her decor pieces from simple things that many of us (in Michigan) would have in our own backyards, but also gives ideas of what you may want to use as a replacement if you live elsewhere.  Her designs are simple and elegant, but also on trend and timeless….pulling items out of her closet or purchasing small items to fill in the gaps from stores that you can find just about anywhere.  She really tries hard to make her journal a place that we all can enjoy and gives us inspiration that we could actually pull off ourselves.  I just love it!
