These Grand Rapids in-home newborn photos are seriously the sweetest. Little Harrison is only a few days old, snuggled up with mom and dad in his nursery all warm and cozy. These types of sessions are some of my favorites because they are always different. Everyone’s home is different so I always walk into the space, scan the room for neutral color and texture and work on keeping the tiny little babe warm and comfortable. One thing that is always the same though is the light…..we have to have that pretty window light!
Newborns are best photographed in their own homes I believe. Mom and dad don’t have to have five more steps trying to make it to me, loading the baby in the carseat, hoping they didn’t forget anything…etc… Life with a newborn is stressful enough which is why I always insist on coming to you! Your home is where baby is most comfortable anyway resulting in the best photos 🙂
