I’m a wedding and portrait photographer, and I’m also a disability advocate working to make the wedding industry more accessible, thoughtful, and welcoming. I believe love stories deserve to be told in spaces where care, dignity, and access are part of the experience - not an afterthought.

This work is deeply personal to me. I’m helping build an industry that’s ready for my daughter, Gabby - so that when it’s her turn to dream, celebrate, and be celebrated, the world is already open to her, just as she is.

Grand Rapids Family Photographer // Emerson’s adoption!

It was quite apparent that Jared, Hilary and Emerson were already a family, but it was made official on Monday! I love creating beautiful images, but being able to witness and freeze moments like this in time for my clients is what makes me the happiest. Emerson is such a sweet and happy little man. He must know that his mommy and daddy love him to pieces! Adoptions seem to hold such a special place in my heart. All children are perfect and deserve wonderful parents just like this….what a happy day!
