I’m a wedding and portrait photographer, and I’m also a disability advocate working to make the wedding industry more accessible, thoughtful, and welcoming. I believe love stories deserve to be told in spaces where care, dignity, and access are part of the experience - not an afterthought.

This work is deeply personal to me. I’m helping build an industry that’s ready for my daughter, Gabby - so that when it’s her turn to dream, celebrate, and be celebrated, the world is already open to her, just as she is.

Grand Rapids Family Photographer // Case & Carol’s Family!

Photographing this family is always one of my favorite things to do! I enjoy catching up with each family so much…. Every time I see them I can’t believe how all the kids have grown! Even though it hasn’t been all that long ago since I saw them last, a couple of the kids I didn’t even recognize. Time surely goes by way too fast.

We scheduled this session quite a while ago, so when the day finally came, it was pouring by the bucket loads. We couldn’t reschedule because some family was visiting from out of state, so we made it work! Thankfully Jeff & Steph had a gorgeous covered porch for us to start shooting under until the rain subsided….what a lifesaver!
