Grand Rapids Engagement Photographer | Tyler & Lizzy – Beach Engagement Session!

Tyler and Lizzy’s engagement session….part two!!  Yesterday I posted Tyler and Lizzy’s engagement session at the greenhouse which was full of color and full of laughter (see it here), but today we are switching over to a more romantic and soft setting…the beautiful shores of Lake Michigan!

The water was freezing and the air had a cool chill, but Tyler and Lizzy were all smiles watching the sun slowly fall down over the horizon.  Lake Michigan is always such a beautiful spot to visit in the spring, summer, fall or even winter.  I absolutely love the subtle colors that the water and sand provide along with all of the texture from the beach grass and dune trails.  To me, locations like this are perfection!

I can’t wait to photograph their wedding day!

Lizzy says that Tyler picked out her engagement ring without any help from her.  I think he nailed it 🙂
