I can’t even believe I’m writing this post. Somehow along the way, this beautiful girl Addison, turned ten years old. My oldest daughter is TEN! To celebrate, we decided to rent a studio in Grand Rapids to take some photos showing how she is going from a children session to more of the tween kind. I am just in disbelief! She is stunning, she is kind, she is fun….but most importantly, she is a good person. That’s all that I have ever wanted for my girls.

I have enjoyed shooting in studios lately. The light is almost always good!

Addy and I scoured the online rental companies for dresses and found this one at Rainey’s Closet. It was perfect! It matched her glasses even which we didn’t even notice until the day of the shoot.

That long, incredibly thick, blonde hair. So, so pretty….but takes us SO long to style!

Addison is fun to photograph because she knows exactly what I’m talking about even when I don’t. Must be because I’m her mom 😉

Addy girl – your dad and I couldn’t be more proud to have a daughter like you. I can still remember holding you for the very first time. You were so tiny and the sweetest thing I had ever seen. I still can’t believe your mine. What a lucky person I am to have you! Love you!
