These senior pics were so fun to take in downtown Grand Rapids. When Cole & Cori’s mom first contacted me, we started brainstorming ideas of where to have their photos taken and we ended on downtown….in the city. I just love shooting here! You can walk a city block and easily have enough good light, texture and unique locations for an entire photo session.

Taking their senior photos in the same session was such a great idea. These two are twins, if you hadn’t guessed it already, so while one was switching outfits…I was taking a few shots of the other. And…we were able to sneak in a few of the two of them together and even some family shots. I’d say we were pretty productive that gorgeous evening!

I tried looking at each location and seeing how I could make it unique for each of them individually.

The rooftop was a favorite spot….great light, simple surroundings with less distraction and a fun view!
