Downtown Grand Rapids senior photography can be so much fun!  Cece and her mom met up with me on the perfect early fall evening.  The sun was warm and shining high in the sky and there was a slow buzz in the city.  We started our session at the Grand Rapids Public Library and walked a big city block or two, finding all the fun textures  and muted colors along the way.

As Cece and I were talking, I was reminded that senior photos certainly don’t have to be boring…they just have to represent you!  The things that you like most and the environment that you best fit into….all rolled into one fun photo session just for you!!

I love, love, love when the sun decides to show up for a session!  The halo effect it gives around the hairline is so pretty!

Seriously Cece, you have some gorgeous eyes!!

Cece and I had a conversation about Dr Martens….I remember wearing them when I was in high school too!  (That probably made me feel cooler than it did her haha)
