Destination Wedding Photographer // Brent & Andrea’s New Orleans Wedding!

This past fall Joe and I had the honor of photographing Brent & Andrea’s wedding in the beautiful city of New Orleans.  These two were the sweetest couple.  You could tell that they were head over heels with one another the second we saw them together at their rehearsal dinner.  Andrea is from Michigan, Brent is from Oklahoma and they live together in Texas, so they knew that wherever they held their nuptials it would be a destination for a portion of their guests.  And that’s what brought us here, to this stunning plantation in New Orleans.  To say it was magical at night with all of the twinkle lights would be an understatement.  We had so much fun meeting and enjoying our time with their families who made us instantly feel like we were long lost friends.  Sometimes intimate, 20 guest weddings are simply the best!

Brent gave their sweet little daughter a pearl necklace and bracelet as a wedding gift.  So sweet and such a gentleman!

These robes are so fun.  Andrea is so kind and sent me home with one too!

This New Orleans tradition was so fun.  All of the ladies pulled a charm attached to a ribbon out of the cake, each having it’s own significance.
