Wedding photography at Cascade Hills Country Club is always stunning…pair that with a wedding ceremony at a fabulous church like the Basilica of St Adalbert and you have one of my favorite weddings ever. The wedding of Alex and Julia.

Alex and Julia’s wedding day was filled with so much joy. Julia radiated as one of the most happy and joyous brides that I have ever seen and Alex was rather handsome himself and kind to everyone he came into contact with. It was a wonderful day.

Julia’s bouquet may be my all-time favorite. It’s absolutely beautiful.

Goodness, her gown was stunning too. The classic details that she picked out were some of my most favorite ever.

I love this fun moment with Julia and her dad before the ceremony. You can hardly see her face but you just know they are laughing.

These fun captures that my second photographer caught are the best! The morning of the wedding for the guys is so starkly different than for the ladies…

This image below is my favorite bridal getting ready photo that I’ve ever taken. It’s so simple but the light, the veil, the seriousness of the moments leading up to the ceremony…it’s all there. (And it was taken in a horribly lit basement with 3 minutes to spare…).

I love sneaking out with the bride and groom during sunset for a few end of the day portraits. These are always so laid back and fun. The light was unreal on Alex & Julia’s wedding day.

Their first dance was so fun to watch. They had dips, spins, lifts and lots of laughs.

Alex & Julia – thank you SO much for trusting me with these memories. I pray that you’ll love them more as each year passes. What an amazing day this was.
