California Wedding Photography // “Newlyweds” – Rusty & Bre!

Names:  Rusty & Bre    Wedding Date:  April 25, 2010      Location:  Temecula Creek Inn, Temecula CA

Rusty and Bre’s wedding was amazing!  Being able to travel all the way to California for a wedding was my dream.  There was so much to photograph and the venue was beautiful, tucked inside the gorgeous mountains!

1 – How do you like being married? Is it all that you dreamed it would be?

Marriage is a challenge, especially being in the military, but that means it’s always an adventure! It’s fun to have a partner in crime 🙂

2 – If you could change anything about your wedding day, what would it be? Or did it go exactly as planned?

I don’t think I would change a thing! It was such a beautiful venue in wine country California! My only complaint was that my dress was too heavy! 🙂

3 – Do you have any funny stories or did anything crazy happen on that day?

The morning of the wedding, my girls and I were getting ready in the bridal room and the power went out! We weren’t sure if we would get power back in time to finish getting our hair done, but it came back and all went well 🙂

4 – What was your favorite part about your wedding? Any special vendors, details, etc?

I really loved all of my flowers done by Katrina and my square cupcakes from Cupcakes Squared in San Diego! They were so yummy and turned out beautiful!

5 – What were your favorite images? Do any of them have any special meaning behind them?

My favorite images were of my dad and I walking down the isle looking at each other smiling. I will always love and treasure that picture 🙂 I also like the picture of my husband and I dancing alone in front of the mountains in the background 🙂  (My style and editing has changed so much since then….but I love these images too!)

6 – Do you have any advice for soon-to-be brides that may help in their planning and enjoying of their wedding day?

I was told to make sure to enjoy the food at the wedding 🙂 I made sure to just relax and take my time eating and savoring the flavors of the day 🙂 And be sure to set a budget…it really does help!
