Bryan and Annie’s wedding day was nothing short of perfection. The sun was shining, everyone was filled with joy and they had a huge celebration. Their ceremony took place at the Basilica of St Adalbert in Grand Rapids, Michigan which is such a stunning church!

When a bride and groom ask for vendor recommendations from me and actually hire them…I know it’s going to be an amazing day! This couple had Sharon from Pretty Petal Papers present to style details in the morning which gave them SO many more detail photos. It allowed me to focus on taking photos instead of setting all the detail photos up. Such a great investment!
I love the newly remodeled rooms at the Amway in downtown Grand Rapids.
Ok, stop here for a second and just check out the sweet flower girl’s face. It’s incredibly sweet.
Stunning bride, AnneMarie, captured on medium format film.
While Annie was getting ready with all her bridesmaid and her mother, Bryan was in another room spending time with his dad and brother. These moments are always so important.
They liked their matching shoes 😉
What a beautiful church.
Goodness, that veil.
I’m not sure what was so funny but I just love this photo.
Married!
Look at these beautiful bridesmaids. Their neutral dresses are so classy and perfect.
Champagne towers. My new favorite wedding detail.
I always love sneaking away with the bride and groom during dinner when the light is gorgeous. It’s the perfect time to capture a few more portraits now that the stress has all melted away.
Their first dance was so fun and unique. While the couple danced, guests threw coins onto the dance floor and children scrambled to pick them up. It was a crazy few moments!
Another dance that they did was the Tarantella. It’s an Italian dance done at weddings that is said to bring good fortune to the bride and groom. This was the most difficult thing I’ve ever photographed but it was incredibly fun. Arms were flying everywhere while twisting napkins above guests’ heads and getting into the center of the circle was nearly impossible. So fun!
Seeing the joy on Annie’s face all day long was probably my favorite part of the day.
When the house lights get turned off, we are able to get more creative with the DJ lights. It’s so fun!
Bryan & Annie – thank you for trusting me with such important photos of this day. I loved getting to know you both through the wedding process and am honored to share an anniversary with such a kind and wonderful couple. I hope you love these images for years and years!
xoxo – Kellie
