When shooting in big cities I always love seeking out places that are unique and have gorgeous architecture. The Art Institute of Chicago was the perfect fit for Max and Kendall’s engagement pictures.

They live in the city so they were a wealth of knowledge. Each of the two were so kind and personable that we got along right away. They certainly made photos easy!

Simple, clean and classic. That’s always my goal for engagement photos – to showcase you two without much distraction.

It was so beautiful everywhere you looked there. The art, the light….everything! There were even twinkle lights in certain areas for the holidays.

Isn’t the architecture here beautiful? The arches, the trim and columns….so much to look at! The most difficult part was waiting for the crowds to empty out behind them 😉

A nice suite and simple dress are always the perfect outfit choices for engagement photos!
