This Alaska Haus wedding editorial is full of photography that makes my heart happy. Lots of white walls, pretty details filled with real flowers trailing to the floor and back, a delectable cake that shouldn’t only be photographed and a stunning couple to make it just perfect.
The amount of talented people that I get to work with on a regular basis is such a blessing to me!
These flowers were so incredibly stunning. The colors and how everything was put together was nothing short of perfection! Nikki from Simplicity floral really killed it!
Alaska Haus is a gorgeous new venue in Caledonia. It is an old church turned modern venue with white walls and black accents (and lots of gorgeous light fixtures).
So, this dress…..STUNNING! I may have gone a little overboard taking photos of Gia but I couldn’t help it. Look at the detail on the back of this gown….
We had a simple sweetheart’s table set up with greenery, a small sweetheart cake and the prettiest place settings. Nothing over the top, just very tasteful and pretty. All the rentals were from Copper and Lace and they are always the perfect way to tie everything together!
Vanessa from Sweet Details makes the most beautiful cakes and cookies (well…pretty much all kinds of sweets). My favorite is when she creates trios of cakes like this. They display so well and look endlessly classic.
I mentioned above that this is an old church but I didn’t mention that they kept all the old stained glass. So pretty!!!
Goodness, I just loved shooting here and pray I get to shoot a real wedding at this beautiful venue with this crazy team full of talent someday. What a dream it was!
