Grand Rapids Wedding Photographer // Made My Week – Vol. 5!

This past weekend I had the pleasure of photographing an amazing wedding for some amazing people.  Joe and I were lucky enough to make a fun weekend out of it.  We made a few great memories, tried out some tasty new restaurants and had a great time being just the two of us for a change.  Being together as a family is so important, but spending time with your spouse alone is just as important in my book!  I mean….we are the reason that our little family exists, so keeping the two of us together and in love is such a top priority!  I encourage ALL married couples to spend some alone time together….even if it’s a short trip to the park or walk around the block!  Building and maintaining your relationship is SO worth it and SO important!

Something else that made my week was this sweet gift from Alyssia and Ian!  It’s no surprise to me to come home to several packages on my doorstep with lovely things for my amazing clients…but one day I came home to about 6 packages and one was for me!  Although gifts aren’t expected or necessary, I am so thankful that special clients (now friends) like these two are so thoughtful to think of me after the day is done.  It means SO much to me and I will cherish these new friends forever !
