Newlyweds – Rob & Christine recap their 2011 fall Thousand Oaks Golf Course wedding in Grand Rapids, MI

Newlyweds // Rob & Christine’s Thousand Oaks Wedding Recap

Rob & Christine’s wedding was on a gorgeous, sunny fall day.  Perfect Michigan weather!   I loved all of their purple decorations and every detail that they picked out!

Names:  Rob & Christine    Wedding Date:  November 4, 2011    Wedding Location:  Thousand Oaks Golf Course

1 – How do you like being married? Is it all that you dreamed it would be?
Rob and I really like being married.  We both don’t really feel like it is much different then when we were dating.
2 – If you could change anything about your wedding day, what would it be? Or did it go exactly as planned?
The only thing I would have changed would have been the song we used for the first dance.  I wanted to dance to Honey Bee by Blake Shelton.
3 – Do you have any funny stories or did anything crazy happen on that day?
One of my cousins showed up in the same dress as my bridesmaids.  (Her cousin is on the far right…so funny!)

4 – What was your favorite part about your wedding? Any special vendors, details, etc?

I loved my wedding dress from Alfred Angelo.  We also loved our pictures!!  (Yay!)

5 – What were your favorite images? Do any of them have any special meaning behind them?

I have several pictures I really love, but my favorite is one of Rob and the groomsmen.  They are standing outside and two of the guys have beer bottles in their hands.  I like this one the best because I think it show how fun and laid back the day was.

6 – Do you have any advice for soon-to-be brides that may help in their planning and enjoying of their wedding day?

Our advise would be to enjoy the day and expect things not to go perfect.  You have to be able to laugh when things don’t go how you planned.

7 – Did you two go on a honeymoon?  If yes, tell me a little about it!

We went to Maui!  It was so nice to get away and enjoy some nice weather.  One of the best parts was renting a spider and driving the road to Hana.  We got a little wet through the rain forest but it was completely worth it!  (Not going to lie….a little jealous over here!  Anyone want me to come take their wedding photos in Hawaii??  Pretty please….!)
