Jerid & Michelle had been together for almost 10 years when they got married! I can remember back to high school when they first started dating…..crazy to see how everything turns out. I am so happy that they have found their place in this world together…..even bringing a sweet little girl into their family!
Names: Jerid & Michelle Wedding Date: November 5, 2011 Wedding Location: Fremont, MI
1 – How do you like being married? Is it all that you dreamed it would be?
We love being married! We were together for 10 years before we tied the knot so we had a good idea of what to expect from marriage, but we didn’t think we would be able to love each other anymore than we did on our wedding day, but after 1 1/2 of marriage our love has continued and will continue to grow more everyday.
2 – If you could change anything about your wedding day, what would it be? Or did it go exactly as planned?
It went as planned! We had an amazing day. I might have changed how much we spent on everything because at the end of the day the only thing that you and your guests remember is the love, happiness, food, music, and drinks 🙂 The small details that end up costing a fortune are barely remembered and not necessary for the perfect wedding.
3 – What was your favorite part about your wedding? Any special vendors, details, etc?
My favorite part of my wedding reception was the music! Our DJ was amazing! He played so many good songs that we were dancing till the lights came on. The pictures of all our guests having an amazing time sharing in our celebration are great.
4 – What were your favorite images? Do any of them have any special meaning behind them?
Our favorite images are the ones from when we went to Heritage Farm and did our wedding party photos. We had such a fun group of friends and family that were in our wedding party that the pictures just radiate love and happiness and the scenery was beautiful. The first pictures of Jerid and I- we look like we could not be more in love if we tired and they take my breath away.
They sure were a fun group!
5 – Do you have any advice for soon-to-be brides that may help in their planning and enjoying of their wedding day?
Advice to brides is that I wish I would have had a videographer to tape the ceremony and reception. Pictures do a great job but it would have been worth the extra money to be able to watch it again whenever I want. So brides think about that in your budget. Plus the bride and groom could watch the tape on their one year anniversary while drinking champagne out of their wedding glasses 🙂
