Shooting Luke and Annemarie’s engagement session at the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah will always be a great memory for me. It was an adventure planning the trip, driving there and finding the best way to drive out onto the salt. Being from Michigan, many of these things were all new to me.
This couple was so fun to be around. We laughed so much and even met the next morning to shoot in the mountains (where I got to meet their sweet pups – check back soon for those photos). I can’t wait for their wedding this coming summer!
I love shooting some images on film. They just look so different – more nostalgic and fun.
It was almost eerie shooting on the salt. It felt like we were walking on a snow and ice covered lake but the only difference was, it wasn’t very cold. Coming from the Midwest, that was so odd.
Won’t Annemarie be a stunning bride?!
Luke & Annemarie – I can’t wait for your wedding day and to meet your family & friends. It’s going to be so fun. Thank you for asking me to share a little slice of your heaven out there in Utah!
xoxo – Kellie
