Nolan and Rachael’s wedding in Ann Arbor was one of my favorites. Yes, I loved it because it was beautiful but the main reason I loved it was because these two were just so fun to be around. They were so excited to be getting married and their joy was infectious. People like them make you want to better at your job 🙂

All of Rachael’s details were simple and classy. Their day really felt like a royal wedding (which I think was the goal…).
They chose to have me capture a lot of their day in film so images are sprinkled throughout.
Film is always my favorite!
The Graduate Hotel in Ann Arbor was such a fun place for them to get ready.
I can never decide what I like more – a groom in a white or black tux jacket… Nolan sure looked great in the white coat!
Rachael decided to do a first look with her dad and it was such a special moment. I don’t think there was a dry eye in the entire room, including mine…
I *think* this is my favorite photo from their day.
The church they were married in was absolutely beautiful. It had great light and beautiful surroundings. Just perfect!
Have I ever told you how much I love cathedral veils?
This was such a fun celebration!
They drove around the block and we snuck back inside for a couple photos of them then shot family photos outdoors because it was such a beautiful day.
I just had to include this photo. It’s so funny. I guess not everyone was having fun….
Rachael’s veil was 180″ long. One hundred and eighty. I went to heaven.
All of these photos were taken at the Law Quad at the University of Michigan where the met during college. I love shooting here!
Sneaking out during sunset (even if we don’t really have one) is one of my favorite parts of the day.
Goodness, these two looked gorgeous together!
This photo just makes me happy. Both sets of parents watching them dance. Ugh, I’m going to cry again….
Nolan & Rachael – Goodness, I just don’t even know where to start. Your day was amazing and will probably always be one of my favorites. I hope you love these images as much as I do and cherish them for decades. It was truly an honor to take them!
xoxo – Kellie
